Sarah is a TV/Film writer based in Los Angeles.
She’s currently writing an original animated feature for Universal.
Sarah was Head Writer for five seasons on the Peabody, Emmy and GLAAD-nominated animated series Summer Camp Island (HBO Max/Cartoon Network), and was staffed on the Emmy-nominated animated series Kiff (Disney) for its three-season run.
Prior to screenwriting, Sarah wrote satire for Reductress and what can only be described as arthouse acne commercials for teens. Sarah made the leap into screenwriting when she sold an adult animated comedy to Cartoon Network/TBS.
Her work has been recognized by The Peabody Awards, The Annecy International Animation Film Festival, The GLAAD Media Awards, Common Sense Media, D&AD, The One Show, The Webby’s, and FWA and has appeared in The New York Times, LA Times, NY MAG, NPR, Esquire, Vice, WSJ, CNN news, Huffington Post, Cosmo, Rolling Stone, Creativity, Adweek, Fastco, and on many local radio stations.
